Translate Nordstrom Rack’s off-price promise into an on-air campaign that feels modern, celebratory, and unmistakably Rack—while repurposing in-house digital/print assets for broadcast. (This was Rack’s first broadcast push.)
The System
A modular brand + motion approach pairing bold, geometric color fields with energetic talent performance and a template kit for broadcast, digital, and in-store screens. We standardized type, palette, transitions, and title/thumbnail patterns so every cut stayed on-brand and on-spec across channels.
Outcomes
A cohesive campaign that read instantly “Rack” and—per the client case record—drove a significant lift in online and brick-and-mortar sales during the run. The kit made ongoing adaptations consistent at scale without re-inventing the look.

Price was the hook, but style had to lead. I shaped a motion language that made value feel aspirational: color-blocked geometry, confident type, and punchy editorial pacing that lets personalities shine while signaling “designer at a fraction.” We built the spot from Rack’s existing digital/print assets, engineered for on-air polish.
To scale beyond a single :30, we delivered a repeatable content kit—broadcast masters and channel ratios (16:9 / 1:1 / 9:16), lower-third/super styles, and thumbnail/title patterns—so internal teams and partners could ship updates faithful to the system across broadcast, social, and in-store displays. The campaign registered a significant sales lift across online and stores during its run.
