(Overview)

A Century of Stories Told in Ink and Motion

Marking 100 years of Converse meant honoring a brand that’s crossed generations, genres, and cultural boundaries. I led the creative development of an animated narrative that stitched together archival photos, original illustrations, and textural motion design to trace the journey of the iconic Chuck Taylor.

The film was intentionally raw and tactile, using ink textures and sketchbook elements to reflect the DIY spirit that has always defined Converse. Rather than feeling like a polished commercial, the piece unfolded like a living scrapbook—part tribute, part time capsule.

This storytelling approach helped Converse reinforce its status as a cultural symbol and celebrate the authentic creativity that made the brand timeless.
