Create a centennial brand film that honors 100 years of Converse—connecting eras and subcultures—by recreating history from scratch (original shoots) rather than sampling archives, and make it travel cleanly across channels.

The System

A VFX-heavy brand + motion approach: stylized plate photography and talent shoots → 3D scene builds, projection techniques, camera tracking, matte/texture work, and advanced compositing to evoke iconic moments through a bold black-and-white language. Typographic intertitles and a codified palette/transition set were packaged with templates and delivery specs so every cut stayed on-brand and on-spec.

Outcomes

A filmic centerpiece that extends the print campaign into motion, reads unmistakably Converse, and yields masters/cutdowns for broadcast, social, and retail—consistent at scale without re-inventing the look each time.
