(Overview)

Bringing Product Benefits to Life with Animated Storytelling

Brooks wanted to showcase their running shorts as more than just gear—they’re an expression of comfort and creativity for everyday runners. I led the development of a motion design approach that layered hand-drawn animation over live-action footage, adding visual personality to product details.

The video used whimsical line art to illustrate benefits like lightweight fabric and breathability, creating a friendly, approachable story that invited runners to see themselves in the product. By balancing clarity with humor and authenticity, the campaign positioned Brooks as a brand that doesn’t take itself too seriously—but takes performance seriously.
