I led the creative strategy and direction for a flexible, high-impact design system supporting ABC’s ESPYS broadcast. The work spanned both real-time graphics templates for the live event and a robust marketing toolkit adaptable across platforms.

Strategy

Designing for Live Television and Cross-Platform Promotion

In support of ABC’s premier sports awards event, I developed a unified creative framework that met the dual demands of live broadcast graphics and cross-platform promotion. From the outset, the strategy was built to handle the unpredictability of live television while maintaining brand consistency across all promotional touchpoints. My team at The New Blank executed a modular system of toolkits and templates—tailored for both real-time deployment during the event and scalable marketing use before and after broadcast. The result was a cohesive visual language that maximized efficiency without sacrificing aesthetic impact.
